MICROWAVE MAC ‘N CHEESE

A snack for one when no one else in the room is craving mac’ n cheese. Or make it for everyone!

What You Need

  • Your favorite large mug
  • 1/3 cup (80 ml) Elbow noodles
  • ½ cup (120 ml) Pre-shredded cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend of the two kinds of cheese
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) Whole Milk (this works best, but use what you have on hand!)
  • ½ cup (120 ml) Water

Directions

  1. Put the elbow noodles into your mug.
  2. Add just shy of ½ cup (120 ml) water. Think less, not more!
  3. Microwave for 2 minutes, then stir. Microwave for 1 minute, then stir. Then microwave every 30 seconds until your water is evaporated. (Should take about 4 minutes.)
  4. Stir in the milk and shredded cheese and microwave for 30-60 seconds.
  5. Stir well, and enjoy!
