Frosty Nail Art
By AJ Smit
Anytime is a great time to take care of your hands. Try this easy nail art. It’s cool in more ways than one!
An easy way to relax while you do your nails is to set up your space! Clear off your table, light a candle, or ask a grown-up to help you light one, and play your favorite music. Setting up the area to be chill and calming will help you stress less, and will make doing nails a lot more fun.
You also want to make sure your hands are clean and fresh before you begin painting. Remove any nail polish you already have on your fingers before you begin. Then, use a sugar scrub to clean your hands and make them soft.
If you don’t have sugar scrub at home, an easy recipe is 1 spoonful of oil (coconut or olive) and 1 spoonful of sugar (brown or white). Mix these two ingredients together, and rub your hands with the scrub for one minute. Then, wash off the scrub with soap and water for fresh, clean skin. Scrubbing off dead cells helps keep your skin happy and healthy, so that your skin is soft no matter the temperature outside!
