Nuts & Chocolate Clusters

A slightly healthier option for your afternoon snack. After all, pistachios and dark chocolate are considered to be superfoods!

What You Need

  • Nut variety (pistachios, pecans, almonds, etc.)
  • Dried cranberries
  • Dark chocolate chips
  • Wax paper


  1. Melt 1 cup (235 mm) dark chocolate chips in the microwave or on the stove. If you use the microwave, heat on high for 1 minute at a time until melted. If you do it on the stove, ask a grown-up to help you!
  2. Spoon small globs of chocolate on a sheet of wax paper while the chocolate is still hot.
  3. Gently press some nuts and fruit into the chocolate.
  4. Let dry and harden for at least an hour.
  5. Eat a few and refrigerate the rest!
