Recycled Magazine Poster

Put old magazines to good use! Follow the instructions below to make your own unique recycled magazine poster.

What You Need

Glue stick
Old magazines (maybe issues of SHINE brightly or Sparkle!)
Stencil
Pen or pencil
Scissors
Thick paper

Find a stencil of the shape you want to use. An animal is a great place to start. (You can also print out the shape and cut it out to use as a stencil.)
Trace the stencil onto your thick piece of poster paper.
Cut thin strips out of your magazines, picking pages with colors, designs, or words you want to include.
Glue strips to fill in the outline you drew, trimming the edges of the strips to fit the shape.
Once the outline has been filled, your poster is finished!
